Get to Know the Leadership Team
Meet the team who has leadership responsibility and sets the vision of Cross of Grace
Nate Treguboff
Pastor
Nathan Treguboff serves as a Pastor at Cross of Grace and is responsible for teaching, music and worship, community care, and counseling. Nathan grew up an Air-force “brat”, born in Phoenix, lived abroad, and eventually moved to Minnesota in 1999. There he got connected with the makings of what is now Cross of Grace, where he met & married his wife, and began to serve as a pastor. He attended and graduated from the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College in 2010. He is currently studying at Westminster Theological Seminary with an emphasis on biblical counseling. He and his wife, Hilary, four children and lively German Short Haired Pointer live in Chaska.
Andrew Schmidt
Pastor
Andrew grew up in the farm town of Gaylord in central MN and sensed a call to pastoral ministry at 19. As an elder, Andrew’s responsibilities include preaching, teaching the new members class, and overseeing evangelism and church finances. He assists our mission in the development of church personnel and identifying their unique gifts. Along with serving on the pastoral team, Andrew’s day-to-day vocation is leading a family home build-remodel business. Residing in Chaska with his devoted wife, Emily, they’re blessed with five sons, a daughter-in-law, and a cherished granddaughter.
Josh Montague
Pastor & Resident Missionary
Josh began attending Cross of Grace in 2015 after he and his family moved to the area. Now a pastor at Cross of Grace, Josh oversees our preaching and teaching ministry, as well as our process of leadership development. Before Cross of Grace, Josh pastored churches in Wisconsin and Michigan. He serves full-time as a US-based missionary with Training Leaders International, training global church pastors without access to theological education, and travels regularly to teach overseas. Josh holds degrees from Michigan State University (Go Green!) and Multnomah Biblical Seminary and recently completed his doctorate in intercultural studies through Western Seminary. Josh and his wife, Mary Ann, live in Carver and have two sons and two daughters. If you can’t find Josh there or overseas, he’s likely paddling a canoe in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota.
We Don't Do This Alone
Our ministry team leaders are instrumental in carrying out the mission and values of our church.
