With our recent opportunity to return to in-person worship gatherings this coming Sunday, June 7th will look a little different.
This Sunday is a “dry run” in-person service only for elders, deacons, and select volunteers who have been notified. This will help us practice our safety protocol and get our technology dialed in for the livestream.
Here are a few things to prepare for Sunday worship:
⁃ We will be livestreaming the service starting at 10:00am.
⁃ The livestream will have worship in song (no YouTube lyric videos).
⁃ The livestream will be on our YouTube channel.
⁃ Gather your household 5-10 minutes earlier and tune in preparing to worship in song and word
⁃ The service will be 1 hour
We realize much is lost in our inability to gather and sing in person as a church, yet we encourage you to press in, push through any awkwardness that would hinder you, and sing out, raise your hands, and worship right there in your homes! Let’s join the Psalmist and say, “I will sing and make melody with all my being! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations” (Psalm 108:1-3).
Then next Sunday, June 14th will be our first in-person worship services, with limited capacity. We won’t be “back to normal” for some time. But it will be an opportunity for those who are comfortable with and able to attend in-person worship services to do so at one of our 2 services, 9:30am or 11:00am.
Will be posting a link the first of next week to reserve your spot for one of those services.
