RESPOND

Take time now to respond to the preached word.  Ask some questions:

1. There are many divisions that can separate us (age, race, social status, nationality). Discuss how the Holy Spirit breaks down those divisions.

2. When we see injustice and unrest, what are some biblical ways we should respond? Even in these responses, why is it important to keep our hope anchored in Christ alone?

3. God brings change around us by first changing what is in us. In this trying time, what is one area of your heart the Spirit has revealed to you that needs change? How does the gospel give you hope for that change?

CONCLUDE IN PRAYER, RESPONDING TO THE WORD OF GOD
