Take time now to respond to the preached word.  Ask some questions:

1. The world says, “Follow your heart”. Why is this wrong? How does God’s Word help us discern our hearts?

2. Even though the Bible was written by 40 different people and over a period of 2,000 years, how can it still be relevant in our lives today? What are some examples of this?

3. “Through the understanding and application of Scripture to our lives, God does His good work of sanctification – cutting away the idols and wandering affections and worries that would steal my joy and my satisfaction in Him.” What are some helpful ways God’s Word has “cut” your heart during the pandemic?
